The park is one of the biggest of Roma.
Standing of pines, watered with fountains and decorated with flowers, the Villa Borghese is a place of picnic and very pleasant idleness, where we made a very funny stroll aboard a rickshaw.
The sky was of a perfect blue, we heard cicadas singing, the air smelt pines…

Ritornerò a Roma !

3 and a half days in the Italian capital. My only « holidays » of summer…
Too short, thus visit at a run to try to see a maximum !

Here is a look of our stay in apartment (the hotel staff put us all 4 in a huge luxury apartment, instead of 2 double rooms, without surcharge and without that we ask for it !!!) and magnificent monuments which make the fame of this sunny city.

My very favorites were the Coliseum : majestic, impressive; as well as the sublime park of the Villa Borghese : big, green and shaded.
We moreover had a rickshaw ride, one moment of brilliant madman-laughter.
The menu was simple : pasta, pizza, ice creams…delicious.
Shopping feedback : A Roma, ho acquistato un benda American Apparel, è tutto.
Adoro questa città !

P.S : I’ve to finish my FishEye camera film, but I think I took some nice photos…answer in about 25 left to take !
