Swedish Hasbeens

Le chic à la française

 photo tuil1_zps408a8a83.jpg

Flowers crown, Act II Scene 3 ! First colored flowers crown worn to celebrate Spring with a breathtaking view in the background.
This time, it’s on a sleek bob at le jardin des Tuileries, in the heart of Paris, that I worn this immaculate flowers headband to suit my white sweatshirt La Petite Française. An black, gray and white outfit, playing with materials and printed, while remaining very simple. The « 1991″ in the middle is none other than the date of creation of the brand, if you were ever wondering…
Concerning the boots… Aaaaah, these boots ! I discovered the vast choice at Swedish Hasbeens during our trip to Stockholm. Clogs with wooden sole are so typical over there : many women wear them and it’s truly charming. To top it off, although the heels are high and there’s a platform, they’re super comfortable and I can walk a long time with them : something usually impossible for me, the rest of the time . High heels = torture after half an hour, because it’s not an habit.
Have a great weekend and great holidays for those who are lucky to have some. Do you guys stay connected during the holiday season ? :)

Jag älskar mina skor

Jag älskar mina skor streetstyle Swedish Hasbeens Sabots Peep toe Super High Burgundy Tartan fetl fedora hat

As this is a very intriguing title, except for those who speak Swedish, let me translate it. It means « I love my shoes » since the Swedish Hasbeens  brand  was born in the 70s in southern Sweden.
Each pair is unique, handmade in a small workshop and created from the very best lime tree and alder wood, leather and rubber (for sole) and the website even says that these materials are so natural that you can « bury your shoes in your garden ». Funny, isn’t it ?
I associated my shoes with my burgundy fedora and my sweet plaid shirt that I wear far too often at the moment. To carry my stuffs, this new leather tote comes complete my outfit and punctuate its by its « boho-chic »; I love it, it’s more than useful. You often see me in jeans these days, but for those who prefer me with a real girly style : don’t worry, soon there will be dresses, dresses and even dresses !

Encore !

Squeak squeak, I had my bob à la Louise Brooks cut ✂ ✂ ✂  AGAIN !
Back from holidays need : I couldn’t wait to shorten it all and especially my bangs. That said, I liked to wear it in a pretty cool rockabilly style and I had a little forehead tan during my week in the south, where it was so sunny and warm ! How does this Parisian rotten weather makes me sulky ?
I took out my hooded parka, my umbrella and I’m not talking about the coat and wellies… So, I’m delighted to have finally got out my new Hunter rain boots : I had them for months !
Moreover, instead of bitching (typically French attitude…), I rather look forward to wear all these pieces that I love : sweet giant scarves, boots, coats, pompon hats (I find myself collecting them as well as swimwear), and even make me full teapots of « Fireside » by the french brand L’Autre Thé, offered by my friend Claire (bisous, if you ever pass by).
Life is short and we should enjoy filling it with small selfish -or not- pleasures, cocooning is part of it and for me as a homebody and attached to my comfort, it’s perfect.
Happy September to you guys !
