Oakville

Thanks a lot Trish and Michelle for your warm welcome, the donuts, the ride to New York, the laugh, the pool, our unforgettable holidays… WE MISS YOU GUYS !! ♥

Continuation and end of our week spent between Oakville and Toronto. If you are new around here, I invite you to read this article to get what this was all about.
To summarize : we stayed in Oakville my boyfriend and I, with German Chopaderos (Marcus, Stephan, Patrick & Katrin) at Trish’s place, one of the oldest Chopaderos in her beautiful house with garden, pool, cats and raccoon visiting (…!)
During the weekend of bike cruise with the Chopaderos we were at the Town Inn Suites, in Toronto. Ideally located in a very nice gay area, I’ve loved doing some grocery shopping late at night (schedules are extensible there, it doesn’t close til very late !) and having breakfast at « Croissant Tree » (ah ah) in the morning. We went to Niagara Falls in a School Bus with 40 bikes in a huge truck behind us. A memorable day, beautiful weather and lots of laughs.
I enjoyed seeing Toronto and Oakville, two different cities : Oakville is quieter, residential, many beautiful houses, while Toronto saw its skyscrapers rising everywhere and has little pavilions. Both cities are worth seeing if you’re in the neighborhood, but don’t forget your bike for a peaceful ride : there are many bike lanes and motorists are cool with bikers.
In these photos I wore the « Valentine » dress created for me by Charlotte from Atelier Charlotte Auzou. It was her nice idea to sew me a dress that would fit me, so I chose this red fabric designed by Fifi Mandirac for Atelier Brunette named  « Le bassin de bateaux » (« Boat pond »). Lightweight cotton, simple with short sleeves and the detail of its round cutting in the back, I find it very flattering : it marks my waist and slightly flared then.
Thanks a lot Trish and Michelle for your warm welcome, the donuts, the ride to New York, the laugh, the pool, our unforgettable holidays … WE MISS YOU GUYS !
